According to Dimitri Azarov, the governor of the Russian Samara region, there is an unknown number of residents in the area among the dead and injured people in Makiivka.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces Strategic Communications Department, in a claim that is not independently approved, announced on Sunday, that about 400 Russian soldiers stationed at a technical center in Makiivka were killed and about 300 others were injured.
