Sar-e-Pul (The Killid) – At least four children killed and further one wounded as a roadside mine exploded at Imam Jafar Sadeq area of Sar-e-Pul-Shebirghan highway, local authorities confirmed.
Zabiullah Ammani, Spokesman for the Sar-e-Pul Governor, told The Killid, “Tuesday evening, children ages between 8-12 were playing in bushes when the mine went off and killed the children.”

It comes following another report where at least two children were killed as a roadside mine went off at Khan Abad of Char Bolak district in Northern province of Afghanistan.
