Six Countries of the World Emphasized Removing the Restrictions on Afghan Women

The foreign ministers of France, Germany, Indonesia, Liechtenstein, Mongolia and South Africa, after their two-day meeting in Ulaanbaatar capital of Mongolia, issued a statement on Friday about the restrictions on Afghan women.

The statement of Mongolia Foreign Ministry stated that the participants of this meeting called for full, equal and safe participation of Afghan women and girls in society.

The participants of this meeting called the Islamic Emirate to stop policies and actions that deprive women of their most basic rights, including the right to education and employment, freedom of movement and participation in public life.

Meanwhile, it has been almost two years since the Islamic Emirate issued orders and increased the restrictions on women day by day.

However, the officials of the Islamic Emirate have always said that they are not against women’s education and work, and by providing a safe environment, the restrictions on women will be removed.
