OCHA has Provided Assistance to More than 17 million Afghans in the Past Five Months

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Afghanistan (OCHA) says it has provided assistance to more than 17 million Afghans in the first five months of 2023.

OCHA has Provided Assistance to More than 17 million Afghans in the Past Five Months

OCHA wrote on its Twitter page that despite the difficult operational conditions, this organization has helped 17.3 million people in Afghanistan in education, health, emergency shelter, food security and other sectors.

 

Meanwhile, according to the information of this organization, the number of needy people in Afghanistan has increased from 28.3 million tons to 28.8 million tons.

OCHA said that 2.26 billion dollars are needed to help these needy people in the last seven months of 2023.
