OCHA Emphasized on Protecting the Rights of Afghan Women

It is posted on OCHA’s Twitter page that Afghan women have the right to receive help and assistance in any situation and their needs should be understood and prioritized.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs added that women and girls in need of urgent aid need support more than ever.

Meanwhile, the international community has repeatedly criticized the Islamic Emirate for imposing restrictions on the education and work of Afghan girls and women.

But the Islamic Emirate says that girls and women will be allowed to go to school and offices after providing a suitable educational and working environment.
