He posted on Twitter that Iran is sending unmanned aircraft to Russia, thus contributing to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
At the same time, he said that the US has sanctioned seven people in connection with Iran’s drone and ballistic missile program.
Blinkin made these statements while last week Ukraine announced the downing of 45 Iranian-made drones.
Iran has not said anything about this so far, but the country’s authorities have previously denied any military assistance to Russia against Ukraine.
