Mawlavi Sayed Abdul Jabbar, speaking to the BBC, said that 405 Afghan prisoners in Karachi, including 69 children and 63 women, will be released and sent to Afghanistan.
However, he emphasizes that efforts are underway to release 257 children and 194 Afghan women who are still in Pakistani prisons.
Recently, photos of Afghan children who are in Pakistani prisons were published in the media, which provoked a strong reaction from the citizens of the two countries.
According to reports, more than a thousand Afghan immigrants, including women and children, are currently imprisoned in Pakistan due to a lack of legal documents.
