COVID-19: Afghanistan Reports 42 New Cases

Afghanistan on Thursday, November 11, reported 42 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, bringing the nationwide case count to 156,456, official data shows.

Also, one patient has died of COVID-19 in the previous 24-hours period. The nationwide deaths stands at 7,292.

Health ministry’s data showed that coronavirus that 34 patients got better in the 24-hours period.

This pushed the total recoveries to 129,047.

Although COVID-19 infections has been at the lowest, officials ask residents to follow health measures.

Worldwide, more than 251.3 million people have been infected by the coronavirus, according to a NYT’s tally published on November 9.

The number of global deaths hit 5,071,061.
