US Forces Would Defend Taiwan in Case of Chinese Attack

The President of the United States of America, in an interview with CBS, said that if China attacks Taiwan, the US forces, including women, will take action.

This is despite the fact that following the increase in tensions between China and Taiwan, the US sold 1.1 billion dollars worth, of military weapons to Taiwan, in September of this year.

The US State Department said at that time that these weapons would help Taiwan in self-defense.

In addition, Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, visited Taiwan last month despite China’s warnings, in response to which China launched military exercises around the island.
