According to an announcement by the department, these goods include petroleum and non-petroleum materials that were imported to Afghanistan from the 26 August to the first of September this year, through the railways of Hayratan, Aqina, and Torghondi.
The source added that during this period, 3,809 metric tons of domestic products, most of which were raisins, were exported from Afghanistan to other countries through railways.
Economic experts say that the goods are transported through railway lines in a short time, which will prevent them from spoiling. According to them, transferring goods through railways will reduce the prices in the country’s markets.
