Today at around 3:00pm, a roadside bomb struck a civilians’ car in Dawashir district of the southern Helmand province, inflicting heavy casualties to the people inside the car, said Mohammad Zaman Hamdard, a spokesman for the provincial police chief.
At least six — all civilians — were killed while another two wounded in the blast, Mr. Hamdard added.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
