Leading a high ranking delegation, President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday traveled to Kapisa province and inaugurated Gulbahar power-sub-station, benefiting 3,000 families, a Presidential statement said.
The power sub-station includes 220 KW transmission line from Red Star station to Gulbahar and 110 transmission line from Gulbahar to Ahmad Beyg hill substation.
The substation was built in cooperation and assistance of a U.S. army team of engineers.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the president hoped the project would be expanded and other residents of the province would also benefit from the facility.
