This is the flowing water of the Trinkot River, from which small streams have flowed into hundreds of villages.
The rivers that have passed from the mentioned river to the rural areas are full of water and many people use this water for drinking and meeting other needs.
The taste and color of this water are completely bad and it cannot be used at all, but people say that they should use this water.
Sher Mohammad, who takes water from this river for his home every day, says that he does not have access to any other safe water.
He says: People have a lot of problems with water. Many people use the impure water of this river for drinking.
There was a lot of water for a while, now people are in trouble. The government should pay attention to it, at least they should provide safe drinking water to the people of these areas.
Not only do the people near the mentioned river complain about the lack of safe drinking water, but the shopkeepers and the city residents are also facing the same problem.
Bacha, who has been running a shop in Trinkot for eight years, says that he prays to God every day not to be thirsty because he does not have access to clean water in the city.
He says that like other cities, the mineral water in Trinkot is also decreasing and its price is high.
He added: People who planted 20 acres of land in the past, planted half of it this year due to the lack of water. People have many problems in terms of water supply.
“The government should help these people and build a water supply system for them”.
According to Radio Killid, currently, there is only one mineral water company in Trinkot city, which is facing the risk of closing.
Rahmatullah, the manager of Zam Zam mineral water Production Company, says that the people are facing economic problems so the company stopped working.
Otherwise, the mineral water is very good because it protects people from many diseases, but people don’t use it and our production line is stopped. Health experts say that most of the people of Uruzgan province do not have access to clean water and currently, there are many diseases caused by dirty water.
Dr. Saifuddin Hamnawa asks people to use clean water in every possible way to control diseases.
He added: “Stomach diseases and similar cases are more common in rivers and other impure waters. Drinking clean water is also important. The water that people are using caused our concern, people should try to use clean water”.

Qari Agha Wali Qureishi, the head of information and culture of Uruzgan province, says that he is always trying to solve the problems of clean water in all fields.
He says that they have built clean water reservoirs in a number of areas.
Organizations have cooperated with us in this field and built water tanks so that people have access to safe water.
Recently, a disease called cholera has spread in the southern provinces of Afghanistan, Uruzgan, and Zabul.
