COVID-19: Afghanistan Reports 33 New Cases

Afghanistan on Sunday, October 31, reported 33 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, bringing the nationwide case count to 156,250, official data shows.

Also, eight patients have died of COVID-19 in the previous 24-hours period, bringing the nationwide deaths to 7,280.

Health ministry’s data showed that coronavirus that 13 patients got better in the 24-hours period.

This pushed the total recoveries to 128,645.

Although COVID-19 infections has been at the lowest, officials ask residents to follow health measures.

Worldwide, more than 246.3 million people have been infected by the coronavirus while 4,995,219 have lost their lives to the disease, according to a NYT’s tally published on October 31.
