KABUL (The Killid) – Afghan President Ashraf Ghani says a system that is elected by people can ensure peace in a country.
Ghani on the first day of the presidential election campaign Sunday said no one outside the government can represent the system, and the government that is set through the elections can bring peace in the country.
Meanwhile, the president rejected claim by presidential candidates of using his competencies to pressure the electoral commissions, adding “presidential elections will be held in a timely manner and all doubts have been resolved in this regard.”

Presidents Ghani’s remarks comes after the country announced first day of the 2019 presidential elections’ campaign that will last 60 days, as the candidates will operate in their favor.
