KABUL (The Killid) – Afghan presidential election campaign has officially begun as of Saturday July 28, 2019, providing candidates 60 days to fight the political battle in their favor.
Abdul Aziz Ebrahimi, Deputy Spokesman for the Independent Election Commission, said the presidential campaign will continue for 60 days – before the required citizen will cast their votes on September 28.
He called for all the candidates to observe the campaigns’ regulations and follow the procedures as guided under the law during the given period.

The two rival-candidates Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Incumbent President and Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive, are running the presidential race along with the other 16 candidates. .
