At least eight people were killed and several others were injured when an explosion hit a passenger vehicle near Godar area in central Kurram Agency earlier today, Aaj News reported. “Ten people were killed, including a woman and one child,” said Shahid Ali Khan, assistant political agent for Kurram Agency in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). According to Pakistani media, doctors at Agency Headquarters Hospital said the condition of three of the injured was critical. Meanwhile Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the blast.
