EU foreign policy official Josep Burrell said in a press conference that, protesters are executed in Iran, and in the latest case, one of the protesters, Majid Reza Rahnaward, was executed in this country.
He said that these sanctions were imposed due to the violation of human rights by these 20 individuals and organizations.
At the same time, four Iranian individuals and four other Iranian organizations, have been sanctioned by the European Union for selling drones to Russia.
A few hours before that, Iran had sanctioned the Farsi section of Free Europe Radio, Radio Zamane, the French magazine Charlie Hebdoi, some officials and members of the European Parliament, four organizations, and 13 British individuals.
