Pakistan Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa is expected to visit Kabul in the next few days.
A press release from National Security Council (NSC) stated that Pakistan’s army chief general Qamar Jawed Bajwa will pay an officials visit to Kabul in the next few days at the invitation of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
This comes after a high-level Afghan security delegation led by National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar arrived in Pakistan where they held discussions with Pakistani officials on a number of key issues pertaining to Afghanistan’s security, the war on terrorism, mutual cooperation and regional issues.
