Abdul Salam Hanafi, the deputy prime minister for administrative affairs, in a meeting with Zhao Xing, the Chinese ambassador in Kabul, said that the Islamic Emirate is trying to connect Afghanistan through various corridors to the “Belt and Road Initiative,” according to a statement released by the Arg.
Hanafi said that the presence of the Chinese ambassador in Afghanistan proved the inaccurate and negative propaganda about Afghanistan wrong.
The Arg quoted Xing as saying that Beijing is working to include Afghanistan in major economic projects.
