After the publication of reports about the negotiations between the United States of America and Iran regarding the exchange of prisoners and efforts to reach a peaceful nuclear deal, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country strongly opposes any nuclear agreements between the United States and Iran.

According to reports, the possibility of an agreement between the United States and Iran to limit Iran’s nuclear program is increasing.

But Benjamin Netanyahu did not reject the possibility of military action against Iran and said that Israel is ready to defend itself against any threat.

“I am very impressed by the defensive and offensive means that we are developing here. we are determined to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. our vigorous opposition to returning to the original nuclear agreement contributes to the American decision not to do so. we have also made it clear to our American friends that more limited agreements are also unacceptable to us. in any case just as I have clarified to them and to the world, I will reiterate here. we will do whatever we need to do in order to defend ourselves, by our own forces against any threats.”

Meanwhile, some sources in Washington have said that in case of a possible agreement with Tehran, Israel will be guaranteed not to worry about any damage.

However, Matthew Miller, the spokesman of the US State Department, once again called the reports about the nuclear agreement with Iran false and misleading.

“Our policy towards Iran is clear. We ask Iran to work for de-escalation. There is no deal on Iran’s nuclear program. The reports about an agreement or contract with Iran are false. We are committed to returning American citizens to the country.”

Meanwhile, Iran announced the launch of a hypersonic missile last week and said that this rocket can break the defence system of Israel’s Iron Dome.

It is said that groups supported by Iran are also carrying out rocket attacks against Israel from across the borders of Lebanon.
