Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that he met separately with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Amir Khan Motaghi, Acting Minister of Interior Sirajuddin Haqqani, Acting Minister of Education Habibullah Agha, and General Director of Intelligence of the Islamic Emirate Abdul Haq Wasiq.
In a statement of the ministry, it is stated that Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani, in these meetings, emphasized the continuation of Qatar’s efforts to support and facilitate efforts to reach a political consensus that would ensure security and stability in Afghanistan.
On the other hand, he has said that his country supports the people of Afghanistan to achieve their rights, especially the right to education and work for girls and women.
Qatar, which hosts the embassies of a number of western countries for Afghanistan, has called the recent decisions of the Islamic Emirate regarding the work and education of women and girls worrying.
