Amiri posted on Twitter that during her trip to Doha, she had a conversation with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country, Lowlah AlKhater, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi, in the field of supporting Afghan women and girls.
Meanwhile, she met with officials of a Qatari foundation called ‘Education Above All’ and discussed expanding educational and scholarship opportunities for Afghans, including women.
At the same time, Amiri, referring to her meeting with a number of Afghans who have provided educational and work opportunities for the country’s citizens abroad, says that these Afghans are focusing on the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
It should be noted that the international community, including the countries of Qatar and the United States, have repeatedly asked the Islamic Emirate to reconsider the ban on women’s work in non-governmental offices and the suspension of girls’ education.
