The economic deputy of the prime minister’s office said that the beggar collection committee has collected nearly 20,000 beggars in Kabul city.

About 20,000 Beggars Collected From Kabul City

In a newsletter published by the economic deputy of the prime minister’s office, it is stated that the beggar collection committee has collected 19,827 beggars from different areas of Kabul until the 28th of this month.

The source added that the collected people include 11,285 women, 1,812 men, and 6,730 children, of which 4,730 women, 684 men, and 2,737 children have been identified as needy people.

The press release also states that among the children who are introduced to educational centers by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, there are 62 orphan children.

This department has said that the Islamic Emirate will provide permanent cash assistance to people who are forced to beg.
