According to an announcement by the European Union Commission, this money is intended to reach the victims of natural disasters in Afghanistan and meet the needs of the people in winter.

The source added that currently, 24 million people in Afghanistan do not have access to enough food.

This is despite the fact that according to international organizations, about 97% of the people in Afghanistan are facing hunger.
