A guard of Laghman’s passport department shot and injured two women near the passport office, according to provincial governor’s media office.
The office described the shooting “a human error,” which injured two women.
There are reports of shootings by Islamic Emirate forces in Afghan provinces.
In a recent incident, a girl named Zainab Abdullahi was killed after an IEA member shot at her.
Witnesses have said Zainab was killed on her way from a wedding party to home.
