A blast hit an area in the fifth district of Kabul city.
Saeed Khosty, spokesperson for Afghanistan’s minister of interior under its new rulers said the explosion was caused by a magnetically attached IED, known as sticky bomb.
The blast left two people wounded, he said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
On Saturday, a minivan caught fire and exploded in western Kabul, a neighborhood dominated by members of the minority Shiite Hazara community.
The ministry of interior put the toll of casualties to one killed and four others wounded.
Hamid Saighani, former employee of Ariana television network was also among the victims of the explosion claimed by ISIS-K, an affiliate of the Islamic State in Afghanistan.
