The explosions took place Saturday afternoon in the sixth and 13th districts of Kabul city, the Afghan interior ministry has confirmed.
Both explosions have targeted two vans, according to the ministry, killing five people.
Ahmad Zia Zia, the ministry’s deputy spokesman, said the casualties were likely to rise.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for both of the attack.
