Barrage of rockets were fired from Lab-e Jar area of Kabul city Saturday morning, said Tariq Arian, a ministry’s spokesman.
He initially put the number of rockets fired to four—two of which hit nearby places to the airport. Another two rockets struck residential places in Khwaja Rawash area.
One was killed and another wounded after a couple of rockets hit residential places, the spokesman added.
Later the spokesman said at least a dozen rockets were fired and struck several parts of the city.
According to the latest data, the missile attacks killed one and injured another two.
No one immediately claimed responsibility.
