Ferdaws Faramarz, a spokesman for the provincial police chief, confirmed to TKG, saying an explosive device placed at a side of Kabul-Logar highway was explored and averted by Afghan forces.
In another incident, security forces have arrested three suspects involved in car robberies.
An hour after they stole a car in Company area of the capital Kabul, Afghan forces arrested the burglars and seized the car, according to Mr. Faramarz.
The suspects were under investigation, he added.
