The ministry of public health reported 310 new confirmed coronavirus cases within the past 24 hours, with 12 related deaths.
The additional 310 new COVID-19 cases brought the country’s total to 29,143 while the total death was pushed to 598 as new deaths recorded in the past 24 hours.
Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar and Paktia have the highest number of infections from the coronavirus pandemic.
A total of 8,841 patients have recovered from the deadly disease after 77 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
