March 12 (The Killid Group) – The coronavirus outbreak was declared a “pandemic” by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The chief of World Health Organization (WHO) Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the number of cases outside China had increased 13-fold in two weeks. He said he was “deeply concerned” by “alarming levels of inaction”.
When a disease is pandemic, it is, in fact, spreading in multiple countries around the world at the same time.
There are 118,000 cases, more than 4,000 deaths, according to the agency, adding that the virus has now spread in every continent except Antarctica.
