NANGARHAR (The Killid) – A ten-year-old girl was killed as a roadside mine blew up in Achin district of Nangarhar province. Further one women wounded, according to local authorities.

NANGARHAR (The Killid) – A ten-year-old girl was killed as a roadside mine blew up in Achin district of Nangarhar province. Further one women wounded, according to local authorities.

Attaullah Khugyani, Spokesman for the Provincial Governor, said to The Killid, “two consecutive explosions yesterday (Monday) at Momand Bagh district of Achin occurred, in result, one child lost life and one women wounded.”

According to Khugyani, during the first explosion, a women was hurt and landed at hospital soon after by security forces; but in the second explosion, a ten-year-old baby girl was killed.

He claimed the mines were planted by Taliban insurgents on roadside.

Taliban so far did not comment on the incident.
