Kabul (The Killid) – Multiple blasts rocked Afghan capital Sunday morning amid crowds flooding in the city, as they seek bliss for the most awaited event, the Eid-al-Fitr.
The first blast targeted a bus carrying students of the education university and killed one shopkeeper and wounded at least 17 others, said Nusrat Rahimi, a spokesman for Ministry of Interior Affairs, as local media reported.
According to Rahimi, the first blast occurred in Silo Raod of Kabul’s PD5 at around 7:59am local time.
While the other two jolted same location following the first explosion, which were later then discovered as improvise explosive devices.
Victims are landed at nearby hospitals for special care.
According to sources, Jawed Kargar, an Afghan journalist and five security forces, were among those wounded in the blasts, Rahimi said.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
