SAR-E-PUL (The Killid) – At least four Afghan security forces were killed during clashes with armed government opposition groups at Qashqari, Gorkab of Sozma Qala district, and Sar-e-Pul-Jowzjan Highway number 1, provincial authorities said.
Mohammad Noor Rahmani, Head of the provincial council, confirming the incident said to The Killid, “Armed government opposition groups last night attacked from a number of top spots over central and surrounding areas of Sar-e-Pul, which caused a great loss to Afghan security forces.”
According to Rahmani, so far, at least four killed and further 32 landed at nearby hospitals with fear of rising death toll.
Meanwhile, sources said Qashqari – which located at the center of the province – is fallen into the militant’s hand, as well as a number of security bases and posts were put on fire in the area.
