Kandahar (The Killid) – Independent Election Commission has released the final result of Wolesi Jirga elections in Kandahar province, IEC announced in a statement.
The magnitude 6.1 quake on Monday afternoon centered in neighboring Castillejos, Zambales and was felt in Metro Manila and other areas, where it caused buildings to sway and drove terrified locals to the street, local media reported.
According to the statement, Sayed Moqtada Miran, Dr. Mahmood Khan Nasrat, Ruhullah Khanzada, Haji Sayed Ahmad Khadem, Gul Ahmad Kamin, Sayed Ahamd Selab, Khalil Ahmad Mojahed, Enrg. And Mohammad Arif Noorzai, are men candidates who reserved seats in Afghan Wolesi Jirga (Lower House, or House of representative of the people).
Meanwhile, Fereba Ahmadi Kakar, Malalay Eshaq Zai and Parwin Nama – with the highest votes – have reserved seats representing women in Southern province of the country.
Thus far, the Independent Election Commission has publicized the final results of Wolesi Jirga for only 27 provinces – out of 33 provinces where elections were held. The 34th province of Ghazni so far did not hold the Elections and is reported to hold in upcoming months.
