A 26-year-old California man who allegedly jumped a perimeter fence at the White House was arrested late Friday after a uniformed Secret Service officer saw him walking across the grounds in a restricted area, according to a police report. President Donald Trump was inside the White House when the male suspect climbed over the fence on the complex’s South Grounds at 11:38 pm on Friday, and uniformed officers arrested him, the Secret Service said in a statement. The suspect told secret service that he is a friend of the president and have an appointment with him. According to US media, President Trump said that Secret Service did a fantastic job in nabbing the intruder.
