A diplomatic corps came to Afghanistan from Qatar to discuss opening country’s embassy in Afghanistan with officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) yesterday. The diplomatic corps chaired by Khalid Bin Mohammad Alattiya expressed that security situation in Afghanistan is satisfactory and will start planning for opening their embassy in Kabul, according to statement of MoFA. The statement further added that the corps has also met with Dr. Nasir Ahmad Andisha deputy foreign minister for financial and administrative affairs and talked of opening Qatar embassy in Kabul. Qatar has friendly ties with Afghanistan and has played a pivotal role in Afghanistan’s peace process with Taleban.
