Job Description:
Reach, visit, encourage, verify and register returnees/IDPs in the targeted areas.
Raise public awareness regarding awareness on Covid-19, promotion of Hygiene program on the targeted households in the province.
Explain the required information of the project as per the need in the field to beneficiaries.
Conduct and deliver training in relation to the project implementation procedures and activities.
Motivate the community and household beneficiaries to engage active participation to the project activities.
Assist and help the selected beneficiaries to fill out the forms if needed for the data collection.
Visit the identified area and affected household as per field visit, including supervision and community support.
Reporting troubleshooting to implement field level activities to the project Manager in timely manner.
Coordinate activities between and among volunteer committee in targeted areas.
Assist the targeted communities in follow up of the project activities in a timely manner.
Distribute the IEC material (Billboard, banner etc.) on the targeted area during session and its maintenance after the session.
Coordinate the project Manager in weekly, Monthly and other regular progress reports.
Maintain strong network and good relation with beneficiaries in the field for better observation and situation analysis.
Communicate with and update the project manager in timely manner during filed visit.
Liaison to local government bodies, Health facilities committee, local wash committee in promotion of awareness against covid-19 outbreaks.
Ability to work as a team member and individual and visit filed as per project work plan.
Qualifications Required:
The candidate must have acquired a bachelor degree of the relevant field.
At least 2 years of working experience with leading international or Afghan(National) NGOs, United Nations, or large business companies;
Extensive experience from large and complex operations;
Computer skills are necessary, especially expert knowledge of MS Excel and Word;
Maturity and ability to work long hours under pressure is essential;
Must be able to work in a team environment, to comprise both Afghan and international staff;
Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English and Dari or Pashto;
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential;
Should be willing to travel to the provinces.
