At least four security personnel were killed and another 22 wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated yesterday evening on a three-wheeler in the PD4 of western Farah province, Tariq Arian, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said.
The blast took place near the police command facility, targeting Haji Qader, a deputy in the security command.
Haji Qader survived the attack while four of his bodyguards lost their lives for the blast.
No one immediately claimed responsibility.
