Speaking to TKG, Jailani Farhad, a spokesman for the provincial governor, said a group of Taliban fighters stormed a military company in Adraskan district of Herat province.
The attack triggered clashes between the Afghan security forces and the insurgents, leaving ten killed and 15 injured, according to the spokesman.
There was no report of casualties brought to pro-government forces, and the armed group has yet to comment.
