Local officials in Zabul said that foreign troop’s airstrikes targeted sanctuaries of Al-Qaeda and other armed anti-government oppositions last night. Gul Islam, provincial governor’s spokesman, told Killid that foreign troops targeted save heavens belonging to Al-Qaeda insurgents and other armed opposition insurgents in Khak-e- Afghan district. He added that 31 insurgents were killed and 19 other injured . Armed opposition groups are yet to comment on the attack. Meanwhile security officials reported that 12 armed anti-government insurgents were killed and injured in Uruzgan province. Commander of Atal 205 Corps in the west said that five insurgents were killed and 7 others injured in Afghan-led airstrikes in Dahrovad district of the province last night.
