Salahuddin Rabbani, Afghan foreign minister, met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation of United Arab Emirates (UAE) yesterday and expressed condolences for the martyrdom of the five diplomats of UAE in Kandahar. Rabbani expressed condolence and sympathy over the martyrdom of UAE diplomats, and said that being a victim of terrorism and extremism for years; the government and people of Afghanistan recongise the pain and sorrow of the UAE people. Rabbani assured his Arab counterpart that Afghan government has firm intention for identifying and following the perpetrators of this incident and will share information with UAE in various stages of the investigation. The last week’s blast in governor’s guesthouse left dozens killed including five UAE diplomats alongside two members of national assembly, and a number of local officials of Afghanistan.
