Among the presidential candidates are the Acting President Shavkat Mirziyoyev from ULDP, Sarvar Otamuratov from Milly Tiklanish Party, Nariman Umarov from Adolat Party, and Hotamzhon Ketmonov from PDPU. Candidates from four political parties of Uzbekistan participate in presidential election – Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party (ULDP), People’s Democratic Party (PDPU), Milly Tiklanish (National Revival) Party, and Adolat (Justice) Social Democratic Party. Mirza Ulughbeg, head of Uzbekistan Central Election Commission, has promised a free, transparent, and equal election based on international norms will be held, according to Reuters.
