Rocket Attack Targets Baghdad’s Green Zone

A Katyusha rocket hit an empty house, but no casualties were reported and there was no immediate claim of responsibility.

Sirens were reportedly heard at the U.S. embassy compound in the Green Zone when the attack took place.

The Green Zone is the most fortified zone in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad where government headquarters, and foreign embassies and missions are located.
