March 8, (The Killid Group) — Afghanistan’s National Cricket Team beat Ireland by 21 runs in the second of Twenty20 International in Greater Noida’s Complex.
The second match of the series took place on Sunday, at around 1:00p.m., local time, in Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida.
Afghanistan captain Asghar Stanikzai won the toss and chose to bat first, which then set the target 184 in four overs.
Ireland Men’s cricket team has failed to capitalise on a promising start, going down by 21 runs to Afghanistan.
Earlier in the Twenty20 opener, Ireland won the toss and elected to bat first, which then set the target of 173 runs.
Afghanistan, however, defeated Ireland by eleven runs.
The third match of the T20I series will be on Tuesday 10 March 2020, starting at 8.30am (GMT) at the same venue.
