HERAT (The Killid Group) – At least four key members of the Taliban surrendered to Afghan security forces in Herat province, local authorities said.
According to a statement released Wednesday, the members were active in terrorism related activities in Zinda Jan district of Herat province, who on Tuesday gave up arms to the forces.
Officials did not provide details on their identities; but said they surrendered at least two motorcycles and a number of arms and ammunition.
Taliban immediately did not comment on the incident.
