About DHSA-TKG:
Development and Humanitarian Services for Afghanistan (DHSA) established in 1992, the mission of DHSA is to redefine development in Afghanistan
by promoting a dynamic and capable civil society as a means to foster local ownership of development, dignity and a peaceful & sustainable future for
all Afghans.
Throughout the 1990’s, DHSA focused primarily on drawing strength from local knowledge and traditional relationships to fill gaps, caused by a weak
national government and absence of public services. During this time, DHSA focused on activities such as water sanitation and irrigation, education,
food assistance to drought affected populations, and rural rehabilitation, matching local know-how with the financial and political support from
international aid agencies and donors such as EC, USAID, WFP, WHO, the UN, Canada fund/Care International and Novib.
The political changes brought by the Bonn Agreement in 2001 allowed DHSA to add development of civil society in Afghanistan – through its media,
education and various community development projects – to its portfolio, in addition to humanitarian assistance.
To achieve its mission, DHSA presently operates five activities:

Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Sr. HR Officer in the hiring process not only in Kabul but also at the provincial level, starting from the recruitment and ending at socialization phase; this may include developing job descriptions, job specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates.
  2. Maintain current organizational chart and keep update the current staff contact list by getting support of the HR team and Reception.
  3. Facilitate the process of socialization of the newly hired employees and accelerate the process of their introduction throughout the organization.
  4. Monitor and record employees’ attendance and prepare the monthly attendance report of employees.
  5. Conduct instruction and briefing for staff members about HR procedures.
  6. Update the filling system and manage filing system of the office documents in both hard and soft copies.
  7. Maintain the personal filing system and HR database of the organization and regularly check these files for the update.
  8. Assist the HR Officer in the implementation of effective HR system, policies and procedures not only in main office but also at the provincial offices;.
  9. Assist the HR Manager in controlling the attendance of those employees who are coming on shifts on Thursdays and Fridays and report accordinglyto Finance.
  10. Conduct field visits or travel to provinces as assigned by supervisor.
  11. Any other relevant assignment given by the supervisor

Job Requirements:

  1. University degree in administration, human resource management or other relevant degree to the post.
  2. Fluency in Dari, Pashto and English.
  3. At least 2 years of experience in the field of HR.
  4. Skillful in interpersonal, time management, communication, and problem solving skills
  5. Very good computer skills like internet, MS office etc.
  6. Experience of team working.
  7. Able to work under pressure and ready to accept the deadlines for the activities.
  8. One of the most important assignments of this post may be travel to provinces; the applicant who would like to apply for this post should be ready totravel to provinces.
