According to a report published by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the number of refugees in the world increased to more than 110 million, of which 5.7 million are Afghan refugees.
According to the report, the number of refugees in the world was 108.4 million by the end of 2022, but violence and natural events have increased the number of refugees to 110 million.
Statistics show that the number of refugees in the world has increased from 27.1 million in 2021 to the end of 2022.
One of every 74 people in the world has been forced to flee, the report stated.
The report added that 52 per cent of these refugees are from Afghanistan, Ukraine and Syria.
