According to Seyyed Mohammad Yazdan, supervisor and manager of Nihad Radio, although the fire was extinguished by the Balkh Fire Department, it left huge damage to this radio.
Fardin Abdi, the head of PaykanTV, says that considering the bad economic conditions, it will be very difficult to activate these two media in the short term.
He asked media supporting institutions to cooperate in reactivating this radio and television.
However, Jamil Waqar, the person in charge of registering the cases of the Committee for the Protection of Afghan Journalists, says that efforts are being made for reactivating these two media.
These two private media belong to Najib Paykan, one of the Afghans living in Turkey.
